- Aquasant Messtechnik AG was founded in 1982 with the aim of offering high-quality industrial measuring instruments for the chemical industry. A corresponding product range of electro-optical and impedance measuring, monitoring and control devices is available to meet the increasing need for instrumentation in the fields of automation and safety.
- The tasks of our customers (tricky measuring problems in liquids, foam and powder) prompted us to develop and produce new devices equipped with the latest technology. As a result, many customer-specific solutions were developed into reliable standard products.
- In-house development and prototype construction represent our expertise. By producing series parts in-house, we enable the greatest possible economic and organizational flexibility. Responsibility towards the customer therefore has the highest priority.

2025
Presentation at the ILMAC of the new generation of field devices type: AME-I with the UNiQ T804 pipe probe. The TSS80 interface ring probe with the MTI local electronics and the mipromex evaluation unit are replaced by the new field device.
2022
We are celebrating our big anniversary; 40 years of Aquasant Messtechnik with our customers at the Rest. Ackermannshof in Basel.
2017
With the 35th anniversary, the founders Roland & Ingrid Inauen handed over the management to the 2nd generation, Roger and Thomas Inauen, on April 8, 2017. A vision created 35 years ago is the legacy that will be carried into the future.
The great advantage of the change in management is not just the fact that Roger and Thomas Inauen are family members, but also their backgrounds: The two of them have been involved in the subject for decades, have grown into it, were introduced to it and now form a motivated team with strong employees that works hand in hand.
2015
After 46 years of company history at Aquasant AG in Wettingen, an era is coming to an end. The production and sales activities of Aquasant AG Wettingen are fully integrated into Aquasant Messtechnik AG in Bubendorf. We took over our parent company after 33 years in the Assed deal.
2010
Treina Electronics AG merges with Aquasant Messtechnik AG in order to operate more cost-effectively and efficiently on the market.
2009
Development and production work in accordance with SEV 09 ATEX 0133 X II 1/2 GD Ex ia (Exd ia) IIC T6 CE 0036/1254 Directive 94/9/EC (Ex devices) and are certified accordingly.
2007
Aquasant Messtechnik AG and Treina Electronics AG move into their own company building at Hauptstrasse 22 in Bubendorf and put the company’s own production facilities into operation.
2002
Development and production work in accordance with ATEX 95 Directive 94/9/EC (Ex devices) and the Pressure Equipment Directive and are certified accordingly.
1996
Both companies are ISO 9001 certified and have met the requirements of the standard for a process-oriented quality management system since April 2002.
1986
Treina Electronics AG is founded to realize integrated solutions. The development and production of high-resolution impedance meters with the latest technology was and is a guarantee for a successful future. Customer proximity and close cooperation between the two companies make it possible to develop and implement customer-specific solutions at short notice.
1982
Roland Inauen founds Aquasant Messtechnik AG in Bubendorf (Switzerland). In the fields of automation and safety, there is a growing demand for instrumentation and high-quality operational measuring devices for the chemical industry. The result is a product range of electro-optical and impedance operating measuring devices for overfill protection, limit switches, turbidity measurement, level, interface, product monitoring and concentration measurement.
