Area of application

Continuous separation layer height of petrochemical products on water “crude oil in drain water” or rainwater monitored in the collecting basin or oil separator shaft with the proven impedance float system controls the slide valve to the ORB for the discharge of place water in the event of an accident. The float is equipped with a rod probe with MTI on-site measuring electronics and is used in Ex zone 1 ia IIB. The signal is routed to the MAT control unit in the non-hazardous area using 2-wire technology.

The surface oil sensor detects an oil layer thickness of 1 mm or more on the rainwater.
